Hi sorry to hear bout the young mans diagnosis my 13yr old has acute lymphoblastic leukemia been going through treatment for 2yrs so far I was just wondering what treatments arnt funded for joshie as our treatment never cost a cent and family was fully funded to travel and stay at Ronald McDonald house flights etc and massive support from ccf

This is a collective koha (gift). The use is discretionary to whatever healing methods outside the public health system that the family may see fit for the well-being of Josh and themselves at this time. This may include, but is not limited to, any alternative methods for example any remedial Māori medicine (rongoa) or alternative healing modality. It may also be family experiences which may have positive healing effects for Josh and his whānau.

Other than that the koha is available at their sole use for any day to day expenses that arise over the journey.
