Help Josh follow his dreams to FC Barcelona

Josh has the opportunity of following his football dreams by training at the home of Messi at FC Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain in July 2016.

It is safe to say that Josh is football mad! His ultimate goal is to play professionally. Josh's motto is Hard Work beats Talent when Talent doesn't Work Hard.

Josh is 11 years old and currently plays for Claudelands Rovers. In 2015 he trialled and was selected for the WaiBop Skills Centre.

He is also part of the Junior Academy at Star Indoor Turf.

In July 2015 Josh attended the AC Milan junior camp held in Wellington by International Football Camps. He is heading back to Wellington in January 2016.

Through these training camps he has been given the opportunity to travel to and train at FC Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain in July 2016.

Josh has been working hard delivering pamphlets for Real Estate agents, mowing lawns, washing cars, selling chocolates and any other job he can find to do, in order to raise the money for the Wellington camps and now for Barcelona. But he needs a bit of extra help to reach his dreams.

Europe 2017!  1 February 2016

Josh has attended the January AC Milan camp in Wellington and has come away very happy! Josh has been selected to be part of a training squad with the aim of playing in tournaments in Europe in 2017! Selection to this squad has given him automatic qualification to Barcelona. The hard work really begins now :)
