Help us get our family - Deadlift for IVF

Hi - we are Glenn and Josie.

We first started trying for a family in 2017, and in early 2018 we were blessed to fall pregnant. Unfortunately this pregnancy resulted in miscarriage when we were 9 weeks. Since then we have had 3 years of desperately trying. We have been through 10 rounds of Letrozole, a drug to help with ovulation, and two attempts of In Utero Insemination (otherwise known as IUIs) all of which have been unsuccessful. We have been through naturopathic medications, and have completely changed our lifestyle through diet and exercise.

IVF is our only remaining option, and unfortunately we do not qualify for public funding through the Ministry of Health. IVF can cost between $10,000 - $15,000 per cycle. So far we have spent approx $10,000 on treatment over the past 3 years.

It is our dream to have a family.

On the 11th April we will be completing a Deadlift for IVF. For every $20 raised we will do one deadlift. Josie is a 4x NZ record holder in powerlifting and the gym has been their solace during this time.
