Journey of a Life Time - With your help Lets get Oliver on Spirit

My name is Oliver and on January 17th 2025, I’m hoping to take part in a Spirit of Adventure Trust’s 10-Day Youth Development Voyage. The Spirit of Adventure has a tall ship that they use to run special voyages to help young people grow, develop and learn vital skills. You spend 10 days at sea with 39 other young people from all over the country that you have never met before.

Next year I will be studying for my NCEA Level 2 at Saint Kentigern (6th form/year 12) This Spirit of Adventure Voyage will help me develop life skills like resilience, self-esteem, team-work, fundraising, confidence.

It would mean a huge amount to me to attend. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time and something I am super excited about.

The cost of going on the Spirit is $2,995, so I am fundraising towards this. I have set myself the mammoth target of fundraising the full amount towards the cost over the next 9 weeks.

I am writing to ask if you (or an organisation you are connected with) would consider helping me with my fundraising with a contribution of cash and or goods to put in my sausage sizzle / bake sale and raffle all helping towards my goal.
