Raising funds for one of our brothers Eamonn Carr, who has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma.
Wellington
The purpose of this page is to raise funds on behalf of the Johnsonville Rugby Football Club (JRFC), in conjunction with 1841 Bar & Restaurant, for one of our brothers Eamonn Carr, who has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma.
At just 20 years old, Eamonn is one of our club’s most promising players. After an impressive season with our Premiers last year, he was selected and played for the Wellington u19 representative team. With his sights set high for 2018, Eamonn continued that form at the start of the season but was continually plagued with injuries and illness throughout the year which ultimately ended his season before the club competition could finish. Unfortunately that illness was later discovered to be the cancer he is now battling.
The road ahead for Eamonn will not be easy as he takes on intensive treatment to fight this.
Eamonn is a valued team and club member at JRFC and we want to do all we can for him, so please help the club support Eamonn in his time of need and donate what you can. Thank you to those who have already made a donation directly to the club, your generosity is greatly appreciated.
A reminder that we are also hosting a quiz night fundraiser for Eamonn. To make this happen, WE NEED YOUR HELP to sell tickets and get as many quiz teams together as we can. We will be running raffles and “buy an answer” during the night. Details are below:
