I'm happy to say that "We did it" and I am able to close his page as juan is going to be able to come home thanks to Give a Little and every single person who donated or shared this link.

Also I want to say Thank You for no one making judgements about having done this, this page that I set up in traumatized desperation has turned into something beautiful and is a testament to him and that people do care.

Memorial Service- we definely are going to be having one after all this-when I don't know as my eye is still on getting him onto new zealand soil but he definitely deserves his moment in the sun and so do we, all I know at this stage is he's having one and it will be in Gore or Mataura and we will let everyone know once we know.

Thank you all on behalf of Juan

    Cyndi

Thanks to the Article that was posted by The Southland Times regarding us trying to get Juan home, contact was made with a lovely Funeral Director based in Brisbane with obviously alot more expertise than i who was able to give me invaluable advice regarding how to streamline the process and therefore save money. Hopefully the coroner will be finished with their part shortly but I have to say thank you to absolutely every single person who has donated it is amazing.

I Know Aiden and Orion will be and thank you for your condolences from my side of the family to the other side of my family on the other side of the Tasman. We are now one family because of Juan xxx Cynthia

Such kind words Cynthia....I'm sure Juan would be totally amazed about the love so many people have shown...and yes he does matter...I don't think he ever thought he did but he mattered to us as his new family and the father to his beautiful kids here in Australia...it's such a sad shame that it had to come to such a tragic end for him for us to show our caring and love for him.....a huge lesson learnt....never take life or a loved one for granted...I would also like to get a plaque for Juan at pinaroo cemetery so the children and us have somewhere to go and visit to pay our respects if it is okay with you and your family xx

Thanks Cynthia....it will be nice to still have a piece of him here with us...even if it's just a plaque....but at least for his beautiful children his memory will still live on here in Australia.....and they will have somewhere to visit him also....x
