Judy Ward

Judy is a true example of the kiwi spirit that upholds the importance of holding true and being there for family and community In times of need. Throughout her life she has been willing to put family, friends and others needs before her own. She has been the shoulder to cry on and an empathetic and non-judgmental ear for many. Judy has provided financial aide even when her own bills were a worry for her.

As Matriarch of our family, Judy's thoughtful, kind and selfless care as well as her guidance over the years has helped to keep us strong and united through good times and bad.

Sadly, Judy has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Back pain is a constant issue for Judy and spite of several rounds of chemotherapy the cancer continues. Recent treatment has made her sick, on top of this Judy came down with Covid, which has been a tremendous amount of physical stress.

Myself and the family have been doing everything we can do to make her life worry free and as comfortable as possible during this final phase of her life. She does not want to be a burden on anyone, especially financially. But we love her unconditionally which means the time has come to ask the community if you could give a little too. Judy needs help with funeral costs and an electrical lazy boy to aid in the comfort of her back pain.
