Jules is walking Te Araroa trail 3000 kms the length of NZ
Help Jules raise money for the Ngaruawahia Community House - providing valuable welfare and social services to the local community.
When I heard about Te Araroa trail, I knew I had to walk it. New Zealand's 'long pathway' is 3,000kms from Cape Reinga to Bluff.
It isn't something to be taken lightly, and is both physically and mentally demanding. It crosses beaches, forests, mountains, volcanoes, rivers, private farm land small villages, major cities, and everything else in between.
As it happens, the route takes me right past my home in Ngaruawahia. This got me thinking that I could turn my personal endeavour into a community one, and fundraise for a very worthy cause.
