Support for Julia's Shanghai World Cup journey

Hi, I’m Julia Harrison, I’ve been in the sport of archery for the past 10 years, and from a young age I've dreamed of representing New Zealand at the Olympics. To earn selection, I must demonstrate to the New Zealand Olympic Committee that I can consistently perform at an international level; that means competing and placing highly at major overseas events. I've had a golden 2025 in the Oceania region, and the Shanghai World Cup this May is the next crucial step as it will give me the opportunity to compete against the world’s top archers and gain invaluable experience at this level.

However, competing internationally comes with significant costs. Travel and accommodation for myself and my coach, James, total approximately $7,000 NZD for this trip. As I prepare for multiple World Cups and World Championships over the next two years in pursuit of Olympic selection for 2028, these expenses quickly add up and place real strain on my finances.

Having my own coach James alongside me will be extremely valuable, as he has played a huge role in helping me reach this level. Your support will not only help cover essential travel costs, it will allow me to focus fully on training and competing at my best.
