Legal defence for James Hilford against St.John who are appealing the WIN James received at the Employment Relations Authority.
Auckland
After 4 years of being ignored and side lined by both St.John and Kensington Swan and spending $38,000 plus loss of $180,000 in wages, James Hilford WON one of the highest determinations in the Employment Relations Authority (ERA) for work place bullying in New Zealand on 15th June 2018.
On 13th July 2018, Kensington Swan are continuing to allow St.John to abuse their position of power and hold themselves to be above the law by appealing the decision to the Employment Court, which means, if the appeal is granted, James will need Barrister representation in the court.
This is likely to cost several thousands of dollars and if this money can't be raised, James will not be able to defend his WIN and will be forced to pay all of St.John's legal fees since 2014 to date. James will be seeking legal aid and the support of the community to uphold the determination which intends to hold all future employers in New Zealand accountable for workplace bullying.
Please help us maintain James' legal precident for future generations of employees in New Zealand.
We are also considering, if St.John's appeal is granted by the employment court, we will be counter suing for a damage claim of a minimum of $1,000,000 which we believe reflects the actual cost of harm that St.John continues to intentionally perpetuate on James Hilford. While also setting a significant deterrent for all other employers across New Zealand.

This money is going to be spent on legal council to assist James in defending his WIN against St.John.
Any surplus will be used to assist other employees who want to bring bullying cases to the ERA.
