The Bay of Plenty’s first-ever full-length feature film, 'Ka Whawhai Tonu: Struggle Without End' has begun filming and needs your support.
Bay Of Plenty
Ka Whawhai Tonu: Struggle Without End is a film made by Māori, in Te Reo Māori and revisits the Battle of Ōrākau. This film is made by the descendants of those who fought; the women, men and children. It will move, inspire and educate our nation.
While we have secured funding to create this important film, there are still production elements that we are seeking additional support to ensure Hollywood quality throughout the movie, such as affording more actors for the large-scale battle scenes.
Gold Donors
We are seeking to raise $100,000. We welcome any givers who would like to be credited (or remain anonymous) as special donors with sums of $5,000 NZD or more. Although we can’t promise any monetary returns from our film, we can offer you an opportunity to be a part of an important moment in history.
