Help Waikato Women's Refuge - Te Whakaruruhau support whānau with access to kai over the 6-week Christmas holiday period

Waikato

Many whānau impacted by domestic violence struggle with accessing kai over the Christmas holidays, as a lot of support services close down during this 6-week period.

Waikato Women’s Refuge – Te Whakaruruhau remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and we will continue to provide whānau with kai parcels throughout the holidays. However, we require support from the community to be able to do this.

Any contribution is greatly appreciated and will mean the world for whānau who would usually go without during this time.

About us

Waikato Women's Refuge - Te Whakaruruhau provides 24/7 crisis, community and residential support to wāhine, tamariki and whānau impacted by domestic violence in the Waikato region.
