We made it to Tonga, Cally and I and the children. Its 6am the church bells are ringing. For Shiloah, Jalen, Bailee and Mason it has been two years since they were last here unfortunately it was to kiss their late father an agonizing goodbye. Its important for us to be here, its a process that will help us heal together as a family and you have helped us. Fa'afetai x
I attended the verdict with my sister Cally Ruahe yesterday (6 June 2014) in Tonga. I, was there on behalf of my all my siblings, my husband and all our children and my parents as well as carrying the love and support of extended family members and close friends. We were both in Tonga to represent Kali's children. If you have ever gone through this type of experience, then you would know the Monster Roller Coaster ride of emotions one goes through in awaiting a verdict. Yesterdays verdict has brought us a huge relief and a step closer to some closure, healing and seeing Justice be made for Kali, but most importantly for his surviving children. The funds raised to this day, will pay for four of the children's flights to Tonga early next month. I would like to take this time to THANK each of you,from the bottom of my heart- family, friends, work colleagues and neighbors who have so kindly donated to this page so far. Thank you.
