Help Raven get to his Happily Ever After
Wellington, Kapiti Coast District
Raven and his brother were rescued off the streets by another nearby rescue and when they were stretched to capacity we agreed to take both boys on. His brother was lucky enough to be adopted but Raven’s journey took a different turn.
Since coming into our care Raven has battled multiple health issues. Despite treatment and a whole lot of love, it’s become clear that one underlying problem is continuing to make him sick: his teeth.
The kindest, most humane option and the one that will give him comfort, stability and a good quality of life, is a full dental extraction.
It sounds big (and it is) but cats do incredibly well without teeth. What they can’t do is thrive while living in constant pain and recurring illness.
The good news is that Raven already has his forever home waiting. Someone has stepped forward ready to love him unconditionally and continue caring for him but before Raven can start his new life we must get him through this critical surgery. It's the last hurdle standing between Raven and his happily ever after.
To get him there, we need to raise over $2,000 to cover the upcoming vet bill. Every dollar donated goes directly toward relieving Raven’s pain and giving him the healthy, comfortable life he deserves. If you’re unable to donate, sharing his story helps more than you know.
Thank you for caring. And thank you for being part of Raven’s journey.

Upcoming vet bill
Raven is officially home and feeling so much better. 9 February 2026
A couple of days ago he had almost all of his teeth removed and is just left with his canines now. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community and one extraordinarily generous donor in particular he got the care he so desperately needed.
The vet is really happy with how he’s healing and Raven is very happy to be back where he belongs, resting comfortably and clearly relieved to have that pain behind him.
This is what community kindness looks like. Because of you, Raven gets to heal, be comfortable and enjoy his days healthy and pain-free in a home that deeply loves him. Thank you for showing up for him when it mattered most.
