“I’ve been given this amazing opportunity to represent NZ at a World Championship event, something I never believed I could achieve. I’m putting in some massive training hours to prepare for this event swimming over 13 kms and cycling over 300 kms per week totaling around 20 hours. I’m thankful for the support from my family and friends that are helping me to make this dream a reality”.
We are having a Quiz night event to raise funds towards this. This will be held on the 13th July 2017 at Speights Ale House Ahuriri, starting at 7.00pm. As well as the Quiz there will be an auction, raffles, and spot prizes to be given away on the night.
We need your help to make this happen. We are looking for monetary donations. In return you will receive advertising and business plugging on the night, Social media recognition on the event page, Use of Karl's profile in your community networks. But most of all the satisfaction of knowing, you have supported this Hawkes Bay boy in representing NZ on the world stage.
“Thank you so much for your support” Karl McDonald
Karl is the first man in line to help out his family, friends and community. He is a very humble person and would never ask for help himself, so we are asking for him!
Karl is spending a massive amount of time, energy and funds training for this event. He is so proud to be representing New Zealand and we want to make sure this happens.
With ours and your support, Karl will do us proud.
