Kate and James need your help for a baby through IVF!

Our little love story - we met in kindy! And finally about 26 years later I nabbed my man!

8 years later, we are desperately trying to have a child as we are unable to conceive naturally due to circumstances out of our control. We have a personal donor, however after 3 unsuccessful rounds of IUI (which is basically the clinical turkey baster method) we are needing to proceed with IVF.

We were hoping to NOT have to need IVF, however with IUI as $3,800 per attempt, we need the big guns to help us with urgent IVF!

The pricing has been broken down into stages for us to this:

Stage 1 - medication and monitoring $6,570.00

Stage 2 - Egg collection and embryology $9,380.00

Stage 3 - Embryo transfer $2,600.00

We do not qualify for public funding as my BMI is too high - however I have also been directed by my specialists that to lose the weight I need would be detrimental to my health - and advised against it.

We appreciate that times are extremely hard for everyone at the moment, but we would just like the opportunity, like so many of our family and friends - to achieve a family of our own.

We both come from big families - mine definitely more so than James! - and while everyone else has always had a 'dream job' - mine was always to be a mum.

Anyone that knows me, knows that I have always wanted to be a mum and thought I would have a whole flock by now! - and despite our recent setbacks - I will fight to try make this a reality ASAP as my biological clock is definitely ticking away...
