Throughout the last few years I have had the opportunity to serve in poverty allievement and awareness campaigns in Tairawhiti (Gisborne). This has opened my eyes to the extent of injustices left to be addressed and revealed that God has given me a skill-set suited to these issues. With the better part of a year before any tertiary study, I pray these 5 months will be a fruitful time of learning and service to others!

YWAM's mission is to know God and make Him known. The DTS includes two phases; lecture and outreach. After 12 weeks of training, students go on a 6-8 week mission trip to share the Gospel of Jesus. I will be spending 2 months in PERU distributing Bibles in indigenous vernacular and aiding in a sports ministry program.

Your financial support will help to cover the costs of my housing, lecture programs, outreach costs, and airfare. The total cost for this program is approximately $8000.
