Keep Auckland Pride #ourpride !

Auckland Pride is on a mission to reinvigorate our Pride Festival, by celebrating the diversity of the rainbow experience in Tāmaki Makaurau and reconnecting with grassroots communities across the region. We want a Festival that is more diverse, representative, inclusive and accessible to all of Auckland's Rainbow communities. There has been some tremendous support so far, from our members, the community and the Action Station fundraiser!

#ourpride needs you

#ourpride is all about participation. Events are cheaper and easier to host, the Pride March is free for all to enter, and many other events this festival are free to attend too!

We want to be able to offer assistance next year for ideas to get off the ground, to make sure we have a wide representation of communities in the programming.

We hope you share our vision for #ourpride - not just for this years festival, but for the future of Pride in Auckland. We're inviting everyone - individuals, groups, schools, businesses, institutions, etc - to donate to Auckland Pride to help make this vision a reality.

Now, we know $$ doesn't just grow on trees. If you haven't got any spare lying around the couch cushions to donate, try out one of these:

- with a team, make something delicious and hold a bake sale

- if your organisation is marching, ask those marching with you to make a small donation

- make Auckland Pride your organisations 'charity of the month' for February
