THE FIRE TRUCK NEEDS A NEW LIFE!
The Lucky Star Fire Truck has blown a head gasket. Not repairable. Not patchable. Done.
They’ve had highly qualified mechanical engineers inspect it — and it’s officially beyond repair.
Just THREE DAYS before heading to Splore to set up, their iconic main stage broke down.
With no way they could not have the Fire Truck at Splore being the last Splore, they pulled off a miracle. Because it’s heavy and over-height, they had to hire a specialist Under Lift truck — costing $5,000 to get to Splore and then back to their mothership event The Extravaganza Fair.
They now need to buy a new truck and transfer the entire stage body onto it..
This isn’t just a vehicle. Their livelihood. Their life.

Behind it all is a crew who work their absolute asses off to make it happen.

They’ve already paid the $5,000 to transport the Fire Truck to Splore.That cost is done — and it hit hard.
If we can help cover that emergency expense and then put anything extra toward securing a new truck, it would mean everything.

Use of funds
Funds will go toward purchasing a new truck - transporting the Lucky Star stage to and from Splore, and covering urgent recovery costs to keep the Extravaganza Fair running through to April. 🚒✨

UPDATE!!! THE FIRE ENGINE - LUCKY STAR / EXTRAVAGANZA FAIR 4 March 2026
The 3rd phase of The Extravaganza Fair Stage has begun.
What started life as a trailer, then became the Lucky Star Fire Engine stage and solar power station, is now moving into Mark III.
Sadly the Cummins engine has failed, so the plan now is to find another truck and move the stage across.
The Extravaganza Fair will be in Rotorua this weekend — using Carlos wonderful vardo stage as the main stage. The show must go on 🚒✨
We have been completely blown away by the kindness and generosity from our community. The Givealittle has already helped cover the tow to Splore and back, which we’re so grateful for.
Anything more raised will go toward the workshop and the team of four working around the clock to get Extravaganza Fair / Lucky Star back on the road.
This is at least a two-week job, and we’ve got Extravaganza fairs in between, so it’s all hands on deck. From hardware and welding wire to grinding discs, plus making sure the boys are well fed while they put in the hours — it all adds up and this is where your support will be going towards!!!!
