Keep the Beat in Christchurch!

As most of you know, the Covid pandemic has been particularly hard on entertainment and music venues. Sadly, many did not survive the initial lockdowns, and those that did are now having to deal with the unprecedented surge of Omicron. A Rolling Stone Bar & Music Venue – located at 579 Colombo Street – is one of the best live music and entertainment venues in Christchurch. They host a variety of musical guests, serve great food, and offer excellent service right in the heart of the city. With all the current uncertainty, the future of A Rolling Stone could be in jeopardy. The owners, Mike and Gretchen, have been wonderfully supportive of so many bands and musicians. That is why we have created this page. Together with Colin Bayley from Bayley, Bruce Hambling with Now & Zen, and myself, Jeff Stribling from Odyssey, we have created this page to show our appreciation to Mike and Gretchen, encourage community support, and keep the live music rockin’ at A Rolling Stone in Christchurch!
