Keep Us Dancing

BalletCollective Aotearoa is a small project based dance collective providing industry experience and mentorship for emerging artists, trying to make their career in dance here in Aotearoa/New Zealand.

We are thrilled that our critically acclaimed programme, 'Subtle Dances', will be performed in June this year at the Taranaki Arts Festival's Winter Festival.

While that Festival is able to offer BalletCollective Aotearoa a fee for the performance in Taranaki, we still need to pay the dancers for their rehearsal for the work, their travel and their pointe shoes and upkeep of the costumes.

Every little bit counts. This will provide these exciting young artists are payment for the many hours they put into their practice and and ensures New Zealand artists can sustain a career at home, here in Aotearoa, enrichening all our lives and helping kiwis explore their unique identity.
