It's Monday now but the buzz from Friday is still humming through our brains.
We've received loads of lovely feedback emails from many of our guests - thank you so much for sharing your kind words with us.
The Kelly June Norman Auction of Awesome Things on Friday was a roaring success.
139 guests attended and were supported by 13 entertainers and crew and 11 venue staff.
But the most important number is how much the event raised: over $50,000 for new equipment at the Newborn Intensive Care Unit in Hamilton.
The event absolutely smashed the target of $25,000 to raise and we are incredibly grateful to all donors, supporters and guests.
There were awesome auction items up for grabs on the night, from signed sporting memorabilia, to original works of art, money-can't-buy-experiences, and a framed ice axe signed by the late, great, Sir Edmund Hilary.
After the sumptuous three-course dinner featuring world class beef from Rolling Heights Farm, plenty of dancing to Two Many Chiefs, the event wound up at around 1am in the Whiskey Room where guests were able to put their feet up, sup a whiskey on the rocks and chill.
This page will remain open for a few more weeks. But we are pleased to announce that we have exceeded our planned fundraising target with your help.
All money raised will go to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit to buy life saving equipment in the name of Kelly June Norman.
Thank you.
