Kelly's World Games Dream

Kelly is a 27 year old local Mount Maunganui man who needs to raise $2500 for his personal contribution to attend the World Special Olympics Games in Abi Dabi next year. Kelly has been swimming competitively with Tauranga Special Olympics for approximately 10 years and was selected to be part of the NZ representative team participating in the World Games in March 2019. This worldwide competition in multi sports attracts in the region of 7000 athletes 3000 coaches from a total of 170 countries around the World. Kelly is one of 8 swimmers from NZ to be selected and will participate in freestyle, backstroke and the Backstroke leg of the medley relay team. The total cost of his trip is $12500 and Tauranga Special Olympics will endeavour to raise the balance of 10,000. Come aboard and help this young man fulfil his dream. Any excess raised will be passed to Tauranga Special Olympics to help with their fundraiser.I
