More than hundred thousand families have lost their home, belongings and now living in temporary shelters. Many of them have lost their immediate family members and friends. Several are still trapped under mud, fallen buildings.
I am launching this fundraising to assist those in need over there. Total estimated damage as of 08/14 was Rs.8000 Crores which is around $1.1Billion US dollars. This will only rise in the coming days since the rain is still going on without a break.
Please contribute even the smallest possible amount and I/We will personally make sure that 100% of it gets to State's Disaster Relief Fund. We will save proof of transfer of this fund to government authorities.
The floods in Kerala are intensifying by the day. With fresh spells of rains being predicted by the MET department, there seems to be no respite for the residents of the state. Over 90 people have died so far and the damage is estimated to be around $18 Billion. I am just doing my bit to help as much as I can.
The fund raised will be send to the chief minister's flood relief fund - https://donation.cmdrf.kerala.gov.in/
