Cookie needs your help
Wellington
On Monday 14 October Cookie was taken into surgery after a night in the after hours. It was suspected that she had a blockage in her stomach. During the surgery the vet discovered that her intestine had twisted and at least half of the intestine had died. They managed to attach what was left and stitch her up. During this time her parents were overseas on holiday.
Abi and Dan have returned from overseas but so far the vet bills have exceeded Cookies insurance limit and they continue to rise.
She is still in the early phases of recovery and we will keep updating this page with progress.

Update on Cookie 🍪 19 October 2024
Cookie has been at home the last two nights and in the vets during the day to have fluids. She is making progress but it’s very slow. During the week she’ll be going to a specialist to see how they can help progress her recovery. Thank you everyone for your generous donations, we are so overwhelmed by how the community has pulled together for Cookie and every cent is so appreciated!
