Our beautiful brother, partner, dad, son Kristin (Kewene) has been told he has melanoma metastasis cancer.Being in his neck lymph nodes, spine, spleen, left bicep and a dot on his lung.July 2023 he was experiencing unusual pain in his left arm not thinking much of it and not being a doctor’s person he didn’t worry about it.After using force on his right arm it made his left arm pop out leading him to go see the doctor’s end of July. Scans were done results showing cancer in his neck.With finding out that more scans were done which showed it had spread to the spleen and spine.Later finding out that it also eaten at his bicep bone which caused it to break and still eating away till this day.With him and my sister being private the opportunity to do Keytruda Immunotherapy as-well as 5 radiation sessions to help shirk it or get rid of it first before letting the Whānau know was definitely on their cards.Unfortunately the treatment didn’t help at all leading him to have to undergo intensive chemo in the up and coming days.As this cancer is not curable it is maintain with on going life treatment. The first 5months is costing them large amount of money. Our Whānau is doing everything we can to pay for treatments.My brother is not the person to have people worry about him or ask for any help but I know at this time in his life the financial support from our wider community will help ease their worries about financial hardship and have his mind clear, headstrong with this journey he’s about to take on
