Kickstart Coffee is an initiative developed by the Upper Hutt Community Youth Trust to train and give meaningful employment to young people.

Wellington

Kickstart Coffee is an initiative developed by the Upper Hutt Community Youth Trust to train and give young people the skills and experience to become qualified baristas. We have a youth worker with 10 years experience who is committed to training young people. We are in the process of attaining a coffee cart that will be portable and will give young people experience in a real life cafe situation. The Kickstart Coffee cart will also double as a source of sustainable income for the Upper Hutt Community Youth Trust.

The Coffee Cart will be available for hire and at functions and events being run by our young people who have been trained as baristas giving them some real life work experience.

All the profit made by Kickstart Coffee goes straight back into employing youth workers to do grass roots youth work with vulnerable young people in our community.

When you buy a coffee from Kickstart Coffee you aren't just kick starting your day with a great tasting, fair trade certified Eco friendly coffee. You are also kickstarting a dream of employment and achievement for a young person at the same time as supporting quality youth work to happen in our community!

If you donate $50 or more you will receive a coffee keep cup which we can make your coffee in for you to takeaway!

If you donate $100 or more you will receive a free Kickstart Coffee t-shirt!
