A project that will help thousands of children.
Whanganui, Manawatu-Wanganui
I'm a 44 year old Kiwi living with a spine disability who just wants to help as many children as possible and create an environment where they flourish, learn and have a better chance at life.
After surgery in 2015 it took 3 long years of rehab to then go chase my dream of helping kids in Vietnam and building an Orphanage that will blow the world away.
I moved to Vietnam in 2018 and was a volunteer English Teacher in North Vietnam but returned to NZ after a motorbike accident and then Covid hit.
Watching my sister slowly lose her 4 year battle with cancer helps me push through my chronic pain everyday and inspires me to chase my dream.
My dream will be to build the Orphanage out of train carriages and some other forms of transport, in which my 12 years in construction allows me to do all this cheap and for low cost. As land is difficult to come by there, I'm looking to renovate an existing orphanage (many of which are very run down).
First step is to move back to Vietnam and get the project rolling from there. I'll be paying for my travel costs there so any donation (Even as small as $1!!!) will go towards the construction of my Orphanage.
In summary, I want to help build the futures of the children in Vietnam who will go through my Orphanage. This will be a living breathing piece of art and have a bunch of amazing artists from Twitter/X who will help design and paint the Orphanage when ready.
For more information please email snowynam22@gmail.com
The money will be used to renovate an existing orphanage by purchasing the train carriages and funds to hire some staff to run it.
If the goal isn't met, donations will be sent to Coins for Change.
