This selfless act and show of kindness deserves to be rewarded by us kiwis

Auckland

Any kiwi who has been around has seen a larger than life character beatboxing outside shops and bars, a man by the name of Te Ariki, aka King Homeboy. This morning on the AM Show he was offered a chance to name 9 towns and cities in 10 seconds in a competition and he actually named 11. As a result he won $10,000, and instead of accepting it himself he made a request for it all to be given to Kidscan. What a touching gesture with Christmas coming, the Man. $10k is a lot of money for many and I’m not sure anyone would have done the same thing including myself, but that says a lot about this guy. This sort of selfless act deserves recognition by all kiwis ❤️
