The West Auckland Community has been hit by a tragedy with the hit and run incident on Rua Road, Saturday the 14th of January resulting in the death of gorgeous Jacob Pakura.

Kiwis Unite was founded as a community initiated response to the abduction and sexual assault of a young boy in Ranui, West Auckland back in November. We ran a successful bake sale and Givealittle campaign raising money for the family and to form a trust for future needs for the survivor.

One of the founding members of KiwisUnite knew and loved Jacob as he was her son's best friend. The daughter of another member was a friend. We want to rally Kiwi's support again to raise funds for this Whanau to ease the burden of funeral and subsequent expenses as they take time to grieve.

Use of funds

Money will be used to cover related funeral and Tangi expenses over the amount provided from ACC and give the Whanau space to grieve without immediate financial burden.
