Cathos Knee Replacement

I had a bad accident in 1982 on my left knee.. 3 ops later and 25 years down the track my right knee has nurtured my left knee and in turn has post trauma degeneration from all the accidents and ops. Currently struggling to walk and the right knee is now harming my new left knee & leg.

Had my left knee operated on last may and gained 70% of life back after being nearly crippled at age 45...

I have worked with my surgeon to apply for surgery for this, ACC have declined it 3 times, also an advocate has had no joy, I live with debilitating chronic pain daily, cant do stuff with my children and the DHB wont accept my referral because of their criteria I am way to obese and the risks are far too great (even though I have had the same operation last may and have recovered incredibly quickly & well with movement and have lost weight because of this!).

We have our house on the market, our cars for sale and whatever else we can do to get this op happening.

I appreciate any help and this obviously is a difficult thing for me to do. Words cannot express enough my heartfelt gratitude for even just having this platform to potentially help myself and others <3 Thank YOU ALL with much LOVE from my heart xxx
