Crystal Selwyn was tragically taken from us as yet another victim of Domestic Violence.
Bay of Plenty
My sister in Law Crystal was an incredible māmā to her 8 beautiful children. But she wasn’t only someones māmā, she was someones daughter, someone’s cousin, someone’s sister and niece. On the evening of Saturday Nov 23rd Crystal was beaten until unrecognisable.
Crystal was pronounced brain dead on arrival at the hospital and succumbed to her injuries at 1:01 pm 26 nov as she took her last breath.
I have put together a give a little page for Crystals babies. This is the meaning of ‘it takes a village’. These children have lost both parents in one day and need the support from those around them and complete strangers now more then ever. Every cent will go towards helping raise Crystals children while they mourn the loss of their beautiful māmā and learn to live without their father too.
The hurt and pain these babies will have to endure is only the beginning. Christmas is in one months time, the first without their māmā.
Donating even $5 will help take some of the financial stress off Crystals family while we all mourn the loss of our beautiful, kind hearted, loving mama, sister and daughter.
Another page has been set up by another family member here: https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/koha-for-crystal-selwyn

I just wanted to jump on and say words can never express how grateful I am to each and every one of you that have donated.
I cannot believe we have hit $26,000 already in a week. We all know how expensive life is for one let alone 6 small babies to look after so Thankyou for helping ease financial Burden over Christmas.
