Koha to support the Whānau of Year 11 student lost in Abbey Caves tragedy

Please koha to support the whānau of the year 11 Whangārei Boys High School student tragically lost in the Abbey Caves yesterday.
On behalf of the whānau, we cannot express how grateful we are to all of those who were involved in helping find and bring our baby boy back to us, police, fire crew, search & rescue, medical crew and, volunteers.
We thank all of you for your kind words and prayers but we ask you to respect our privacy at this time.
Your support, tireless efforts, and your aroha will be with us forever.

Unexpected funeral costs and ongoing whānau support. The family are aware that ACC will assist with these costs too.
Funds will be paid to Mel Cuddy (sister of Alicia/Aunty of the student) on behalf of Alicia Toki (Mother of the student).
