Help Kourtney, a 36 year old mother of 4, on her journey with terminal Stage 4 Cervical Cancer
Auckland
Kourtney has always done more for others than herself. As a young mother of 4 the last year has been extremely difficult, continually fundraising for much needed alternative treatment to try and fight Stage 4 Cervical Cancer.
But now, there is nothing more that can be done.
All we can do is hope to make every day as precious as possible for Kourtney, her husband Klintyn and their children and try to help out with their day to day living expenses as they live between hospital and home trying to battle the pain associated with her cancer.
Cancer doesn't just affect one person. She has spent the last 8 weeks in hospital and barely saw her children through Christmas. But that is just a snapshot of a year spent missing key milestones in their lives- including her baby speaking and walking for the first time.
Now Kourtney is being transferred to Hospice and our aim is to help her make as many amazing memories as we possibly can with her kids.
It all started when Kourtney had a difficult pregnancy, battling back pain that wouldn't ease up. It wasn't until her youngest son K'Ida was 3 months old that doctors discovered she had a large tumour on her cervix. Kourtney was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cervical Cancer which has spread to her lower lymph nodes.
Kourtney went through six weeks of aggressive chemotherapy and radiation treatments in June 2015 to fight the cancer unsuccessfully.
With four children, the youngest of which has just turned one, Kourtney was willing to do anything and everything she could to fight her cancer.
She had some success with Ozone treatments and Vitamin C injections but the cancer was invasive and has been too aggressive to stop.
Please give generously to Kourtney and her family as she continues on her journey xx
I'm involved because I support Kourtney, her husband and their children.
