Kia ora friends and supporter, we are delighted to announce we have reached the $450k mark and can successfully purchase the land !

We couldnt have done it without you, so take a bow, pat yourself on the back and know you have contributed to the protection of a wonderful block of conservation land, that will be protected in perpetuity.

Of course like all these projects, we will continue to need financial support, as we work to re-establish a good, safe walking track, and deal with pest plants and animals. . . .so dont be shy, if you still want to donate.

At the end of the month, we will retire this Givealittle page, but we will start a new one, details will be posted on the entrance way of the land in Le Bons, so anyone enjoying the reserve can donate.

You can always find us on FB or our website 'le bons bay conservation trust' .

Once again huge thanks for your amazing generosity, what a fabulous community of supporters you are.

    Ngā mihi nui.

    Kia ora friends,

The latest news is that we are now at the point of making plans for the purchase and celebration, we have just over $17k left to raise of the purchase price. Ongoing fundraising will be required for work we need to do on site, but once the property is owned by the trust, other funding sources will open up for us.

The immediate future looks like some working bees, and a celebration early April . . . . .more detail will be sent by email. Thank you all once again for your amazing support.

Ngā mihi o te tau hou. Greeting for the new year.

While summer has been slow to build, we have still been working hard fundraising, with some amazing community support.

There were some generous prizes donated to the annual new years day carnival in the bay, the money raised by the raffles was donated to our trust and I can now excitedly report that we have reached the $400,000 milestone and the end is in sight, continuing the metaphor, we are determined not to fall at the last hurdle, and so are pushing to raise the final $50k by March.

Thank you to all who have donated so far we literally couldn't have done it without you.

    Kia ora friends and supporters,

We are very happy to let you know that we have reached the milestone of $350k . . . .that means just $100k to raise.

While we are amazed and humbled to have raised such a significant portion of the total price, we know that this last $100 might be the hardest.

Never fear though, we are ready for the challenge, and are determined ensure this beautiful piece of costal land is protected forever.

If you havent already shared this campaign with friends and family (huge thanks if you have) you can direct them to our website www.lbbct.org for more information.
