Learning Beyond the Classroom: Rosehill’s 2027 China Study Trip 🇨🇳

The Chinese Programme at Rosehill College has grown rapidly since 2024, with hundreds of students learning Chinese and exploring Chinese culture, history and traditions. We believe language learning becomes more meaningful when students experience the language and culture beyond the classroom.

In 2025, 10 Rosehill students travelled to Beijing and Xi’an. They explored historical and cultural sites, experienced Chinese food and traditions, and used their Chinese in authentic settings. The trip was a great success, helping students learn, build confidence and independence.

Building on this success, we are preparing for our 2027 China Study Trip. We hope to give more students the opportunity to experience China firsthand, strengthen their Chinese, discover its culture and history, and develop a deeper understanding of the world.

An international educational experience can be life-changing, but travel costs can be a significant commitment for families. We are fundraising to make this opportunity more accessible.
