Help Support Our Team After Sudden Job Loss

Hi everyone,

We’re a team of staff members from Butlers Chocolate Cafe and we’re reaching out for support after the business unexpectedly went into liquidation on Thursday the 3rd July 2025 leaving us all without jobs, without any warning.

This sudden closure has deeply affected everyone on the team, especially our staff on work visas, who now face the added stress of uncertain immigration status, limited time to find new employment, and no access to government support.

Many of us are now struggling to cover rent, food, transport, and basic essentials while urgently searching for new work. Some have families to support, and all of us are doing our best to stay positive despite a very tough situation.

I've started this Givealittle to help support our team during this difficult transition. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping our staff meet immediate needs—especially those most vulnerable and with limited safety nets.
