Left high n Dry now fighting back to health

It was an exciting thing - going to another country; travel and do a bit of teaching work as well to get by - I better get done travel insurance, I thought… go with the biggest (recently I found out it’s actually a monopoly in NZ); ‘TravelCare NZ and Southern Cross Insurance New Zealand’; and off I went to Thailand…

Long story short; the day before flying out to a new job in Phuket I got into an accident and had to have major surgery and a hospital stay amounting to $15,000 NZD. Of this I could only pay $5,000 - I was 10k short - that’s okay I thought I’ve got insurance; … umm no - they sent an investigator and left no stone unturned; while I lay bedridden and immobile; to find a way out of paying - that they did.

(the house always wins).

Anyway, they left me high n dry in between jobs, stranded in my hour of need; and now I am seeking to raise 10,000 NZD to pay for medical bills.

Please help if you can and can afford.

The insurance company from my previous employer (Assumption College English Program) - Aetna (the bestest) 💕

Came to the rescue for the hospital bill, they paid 2/3rds of the bill even though my contract was over 👍🏼 👏🏼👏🏼
