    Hi all,

It is with great sadness that I share with you the passing of my beautiful sister.

If you knew Aims personally you’ll know how much of a fighter she was, and she fought so hard right to the end.

She passed after a day of being showered with love by some of her most favourite people, and listening to her favourite songs.

I’d like to thank each and every one of you for the donations, myself and my family are very grateful for your generosity and empathy through this difficult year.

The account will now be passed over to me as payee so the remaining funds can be used for travel and funeral arrangements as per Aimees last wishes.

Thank you for following along on her journey, she loved knowing you were all in her corner. She is now at peace in the arms of our grandparents we hope somewhere beautiful and sunny ❤️

    Thank you all so much,

    Ally xx

  • I wish I had a better update

      27 November 2024

Aims was recently given her final prognosis at her last Oncology appointment who advised they were ceasing all treatment as the cancer had spread too far to fight it. Unfortunately being admitted to hospital over the weekend with a number of complications it is now time for her to be transferred to hospice where they can make her as comfortable as possible, and give her the round the clock care she needs.

Aims has loved seeing all the donations and messages that have come through and the love & support everyone has sent. Anything further that comes through will be used for travel and accommodation for our family to be close to hospice as well as anticipated funeral costs. Thank you all for being so wonderful and keep the thoughts and prayers coming ❤️

  • Closing date extended and Update

      19 September 2024

I have extended the closing date for Aims page to allow for more donations to come through.

Aimee has now officially resigned from employment to focus on her treatment and rest. She had initially planned to return to work casually between treatment periods to keep her socially engaged, but her treatment is too unpredictable and is needing to rest more often.

Please continue to keep her and my family in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to navigate the ups and downs. Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated or help out in some way or another ❤️

  • Not been an easy fight.

So after an easy few months we found out 2 weeks ago that the cancer was progressing in a lymph node in my pelvis and a mass in my liver.

This week we started radiation on the lymph node and in 2 weeks we start back on the aggressive chemo on my liver.

It’s been a lot harder to process this time around and it’s becoming harder to stay positive but we will get through it again.

  • Thank you!!

      17 May 2024

I just wanted to give a little update and say a huge huge thank you to everyone that has donated so far, it is very much a appreciated!

Treatment update - Aims finished her last round of Chemo (and immunotherapy) on Wednesday which unfortunately wasn't as easy as the first round and has knocked her around a bit, but now she gets to rest, spend some time with her daughter, and plan some trips. As the treatment is palliative, her next Oncology appointment will be to determine if the Chemo has gifted us with more time with Aims, and we can only hope for the best outcome.

Once again thank you for the donations, the prayers, the thoughts - everything means a lot to us <3

    - Ally
