Let's bless the Matabans as they care for their VERY premature baby!

Precious Jehielle is a much wanted and loved part of the Mataban family. Born at 27 weeks gestation she is quite the fighter! Weighing just a little more than a block of butter (576g) she has defied expectations and is now 20 weeks earth-side and weighs 3.7kg!

It's still a long road ahead. For John and Carhla life has been incredibly stressful over the past 20 weeks and there have been many moments they didn't know if Jehielle would survive. As they prepare to take her home in the next few weeks they really need their communities support. Carhla's maternity leave payments are about to finish and John has had to take lots of time off to be at the hospital with their baby - financial support will help ease some of the worries about the days ahead.

When home Jehielle will need to be fed continuously with just 30minutes break between feeds and be on be oxygen constantly. It will be round-the-clock care for this precious little girl as well as parenting their other daughter who is 6 years old.

There have been MANY expenses over the past few months and I wanted to set this fundraiser up because I know that they need some financial support. John and Carhla would NEVER ask themselves so sometimes it's helpful to have a friend to rally some support!
