Givealittle page to raise funds to help bring Tua home after unexpected death overseas.

Carterton, Wellington

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the sudden loss of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Tua, who recently passed away in Liverpool. Tua moved to Liverpool in 2018 to begin a new chapter, however our world has been turned upside down when Tua became ill with his diabeties, and as a grieving mother, my deepest wish is to bring my boy home to New Zealand — back to the land, the family, and the people who love him so dearly.

The cost of international repatriation is overwhelming, and we are reaching out for support to help cover the expenses of cremation along with flight expenses to bring Tua back home where we can say our farewells to him.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this unimaginable time.

With love and gratitude,

Kathleen & Whanau

Use of funds

Cost of cremation, flights for family member to fly to London to collect Tua & bring him home, 1 week accommodation & expenses while liaising with funeral director in London.

Bring Tua home from UK  9 June 2025

I wish to Thank everyone who donated to help bring my Son Tua home to NZ. We will lay him to rest with his Father. Without these donations I would have struggled to do this. I really appreciate all the love shown to my family at this very sad time.

Thank you so much. Kathleen Phillips
