    Hi everybody

    Its Leann and geremy, Ellas mum and step dad.

    First of all I would love to thank everyone who has been donating.

    We are blown away by the support of every one who has supported us along the way.

    Ella is still in hospital and still having 40 degree temps at least once a day. And the rest have been high as well.

    The doctors have found an unknown bug in her blood and are trying to figure out a way to treat it.

    She is currently on strong antibiotics and each day gets a little better than the last.

    The doctors say it is just a waiting game.

    Ella is on tpn now to fred her as she isn't eating and cannot tolerate feeds through the ng tube.

    She sleeps alot and is in a bit a pain. She is mentally and physically exhausted but she is taking it like a champ and taking each thing as it comes.

    We are currently on day 6 of her hospital stay and it looks as though she could be in her for a while. Maybe even through to the new year.

    Ella had moment during Christmas day where she was up and could open presents but it exhausted her and she just slept and rested in between.

    Will try to keep you updated as time goes on.

    Thankyou to everyone that has made a donation to ellas givealittle.

    Ella is currently in wellington hospital .she has been quite under the weather this week .enduring blood transfusions ..her chemo.. fluids and fevers reaching 39.3 with some a little higher.

    Unfortunately ella won't be home for christmas with her family this year.

    So Christmas will be spent in the ward with hospital staff and mum .

    Today ella had to have morphine to help with her pain and her nausea .

    Hopefully there will be some good news to share with you all very soon.

    But until then .thankyou from the bottom of our hearts.to each and every one of yous.

    Merry Christmas and 2020 hurry up and get out of here.

    hi everyone .

    Just a quick update .just to let yous know how ella is progressing.

    Ella has had a good stint in hospital . A good few weeks .ella hasn't been making count for her nutriphils and has been loosing a lot of weight .

    Vomiting and other symptoms meant a covid test had been done .

    Ella came back positive for one of the vorona virus but luckily not covid19.

    Now to the nitty gritty . Ella her mum and her family appreciate every donation yous made and this has been an exceptional bonus to the costs of ellas care .

    As an extended family (2 adults 6 children ) the donations from this givealittle help with ellas petrol costs day to day . Heating to keep the house at a good temperature so ella is warm and safe from.bugs .

    A bit about ellas mum .

    She is a mum to 6 children .2 biological and her husband's 3 biological.

    Leann is such a strong mum .holding herself together for ella .

    Day in day out she is keeping it together and staying positive. As we all are .

    But reality is in life that the cost of a disease like this comes with many costs .

    So please we are asking if yous could find it in your hearts to help this family a little more .

    Remission is not to far in the bear future. Although that means 2 years in remission .

    But please thsi family is in need of a little more help .

    Hi everyone .

    Just a quick update on ellas journey .

    Ella has taken each day in this journey in her stride .

    Ella has completed stage 1 and 2 of her chemo :but not without the bad days that come with horrible disease . Ella has just spent 2 weeks in wellington hospital. Ella has been vomiting.. low nitrites.. and on top of everything else tested positive for 1 of the corona viruses. So isolation had been part of this hospital stay .

    As this givealittle page is coming tk an end..i an hoping there are a few generous people out there that would find it in their hearts to donate .

    Amongst everyday costs of living having a child go through the bigC..well any member of the family not just a child .. there is still extra costs involved .travel .. other costs involved with hospital stays.. meals etc as mum isn't covered only ella .

    I thank everybody who has donated in the past . And to any future donations..i thank yous in advance .

    This is a long journey. A stressful journey for everyone involved.

    I thank yous all from the bottom of my heart

    Also there were a few comments about why there were 2 givealittle pages . As a blended family ..this page was made on behalf of mum .. step-dad.and ellas siblings .

    The 2nd page was made by ellas.biological dad .

    Which leann doesn't get the funds from that one for ella .

    So please if yous could find it in your hearts to make a small donation. As every dollar counts towards medical costs etc .

    hello everyone. Ella is doing well . Well as well.as.expected fighting cancer. She has good days and bad days . Ella is still having chemo each day .with a recent 2 week stay in hospital. Ella is at home and travels each morning for her chemo sessions. Ella just takes each day as it comes and takes it all on board like a total warrior.

    Thankyou again to all that has donated so far. And a thankyoi in advance to any donations in the future. And for following ellas journey. As always☆ Her fight is our Fight . Stay safe everyone :) .

    Hi everyone .sorry uodates are far and few between .

    Ella is still currently admitted to wellington hospital . Day 7 and many febrile fevers later things are still on the mend .

    4 blood transfusions .ct scans .x rays have all been part of ellas hospital stay .

    Fevers reaching 39.6 and 39.2 have a been part of the 6 days .

    Mum is with ella every second of everyday doing such an amazing job as ellas.mum and main supporter .

    As much as we are a huge family there is never a way to take away what this family is going through.

    Ella will be admitted in wellingtom until her weight improves

    .. loosing 3kgs in a week.. mum gas advised tube feeding will be increased to try and put some weight back on .

    Cold.sores and rhinovirus have Lall been a huge impact in ellas stay .

    Not to mention chemo... vomiting and diareah . (Sorry :) ) .

    So as.i update you all on ellas.progresd and not so good process I would like yo thank everyone once again who has donated to the givealittle page .

    From the bottom of our hearts we thank each and everyone of you individual and want you all to know your all angels 😇. Well thats all from me.. as anyone who has a family member with the big C.. its horrible to watch and makes you feel so useless. Huhe amounts of. Love to you all

    hello everyone . just a quick update on Ella's journey . aella had now completed round 1 of chemotherapy.

    The journey for ella and mum in Christchurch Ronald McDonald house is as you would expect, a very hard journey for ella and a very hard journey for mum to watch he daughter go through .

    There are good days with smiles and then there are bad days when I can only imagine ,are very long and emotional .

    Ella has started to lose her hair ,but still as beautiful as ever . mum dpesnt know what the next phase is this journey is ..but more matter what her family is on this journey together. thankyou all for your donations and if possible we would still really appreciate any donations big or small . this is a long jand hard journey to travel .

    I would just like to thank everyone personally that has donated so far .

    Ella has started chemo and fighting this fight like a champ.

    As the same as any child she has fears during her treatment .day 10 and many visits to theater. please keep following Ella's journey and support her on the road to recovery .
