Brick Engaged Foundation (Charity Number CC61518) is raising funds for a 'Brick Bus' to take our mindful LEGO sessions mobile.
Upper Hutt, Wellington
My name is Dan Mulholland, LEGO fan, LEGO Master (NZ Season one), and Mental Health advocate https://www.brickengaged.org/about-me I founded Brick Engaged in 2021 and attained charitable status in 2023. My mission is to give opportunity to neurodivergent children to have meaningful interactions while learning, playing and develpoing social skills. I use LEGO bricks as the 'tool' to facilitate play.
Thus far I have had a dedicated fixed space however the limitations have been met and I want to go MOBILE!!
With the 'Brick Bus' I can offer services to schools and the wider community by bringing the sessions and the bricks to you! this means my reach can be even greater and I can work with more kids making a greater impact.
With your help, WE can make this happen. Thank You!
Brick Engaged Foundation conducts Mindful LEGO® Building sessions for neurodivergent children. We focus on social skills, life skills, mental wellbeing and meaningful interactions while buildiing and playing with LEGO® bricks.
Purchase and custom fitout of a suitable vehicle for mobile LEGO based mindful building sessions for small groups.
If we do not hit our goal- I'll just extend the campaign until it's done!
Excess (if any) funds will be used to cover ongoing costs of the charity.
