Let's get Danny's car up and running!
We are raising funds to help our friend battling cancer restore his beloved car, bringing him a little joy during this difficult time.
Upper Hutt, Wellington
As many of you know, Dan has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. While no one knows exactly how much time lies ahead, we hope to help make one of his biggest wishes come true.
His dream is to see his beloved car fully restored and, if possible, enjoy it while he still can. Restoring a car is expensive, and we're asking if anyone is able to contribute—no matter how big or small—to help make this happen.
Every donation will go directly towards the restoration. If you're unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us.

Use of funds
What this entails is
Full paint with specialized painter and paint.
Complete wiring of the vehicle quoted 40 hours plus of work is needed to complete buy a auto electrician he also has to make the wires needed to get the car up and running.

Progress update on Danny's dream car 25 September 2026
Hey everyone.
Dan's dream car is progressing really well and we hope to have it on the road soon!
All panel work is complete and the final paint work has started.
The wiring which was a big job is 75% done!
90% of the mechanical work is complete with compliance work the next piece in the puzzle.
Wheels have been sourced and most of everything else like interior, seals small parts etc are ready to go on!
Thankyou so much to everyone who has donated and played a part in this project, the positive impact for Dan is immeasurable!
