We are asking for support to get Jaimee back on a repatriation flight from Ghana to London and then home to the safety of NZ.
Wellington
Jaimee Perrett, a Nelson School Teacher and one of the best people there is, has been in Ghana volunteering and building an incredibly needed school. Rebuilding the school had been a dream of Jaimee's for four years. She spent last year working as a teacher during the day, and at a pub at night, with all her extra earnings going towards the school. Unfortunately, though she is now stranded in Ghana by COVID and she needs to get back to NZ. The flights are expensive and she has given so much that she has little funds to get her back. She needs to pay for an emergency flight that will get her out of Ghana and to London and then get home. The repatriation flight is $4,000 on its own and she has a very limited window to purchase it. I am hoping if we can rally together and help support this magical human then it will make it easier for her to get home where she belongs. The total cost to get home is around $7,000. Any help gratefully appreciated and if those who know Jaimee can please spread this page far and wide we would all be most grateful. Jaimee is too humble to ever set this up herself so we have made the call to do it on her behalf but with her permission. All funds will be paid directly to Jaimee. Let's get her home team.

I just want to get Jaimee home. I worked with Jaimie at Brooklyn school before she went to Ghana and she is just one of those magical people.
The funds will be used to pay for the repatriation flight from Ghana to London to get Jaimee back to NZ.
