Liam played a lot of games in the position of catcher, in all that gear in high 80's to 90's fahrenheit that's around 31.c and 90% humidity!
Liam and his "Pacmen" (pacific men) team are doing so well. Coming together as a team from all over NZ only having had a few games 'as a team', and playing in scorching heat -having come from the NZ winter! they are doing us proud!
Liam's team had some friendly games with locals in Kansas city
Liam will be travelling to USA with the U16 team and also the u12 team.
The will spend a few days in Kansas city shopping and a few scrimmage games, then onto the Babe Ruth World Series in Branson.
He left NZ this morning at -2.c and is heading to 34.c!!!
Thank you to everyone who has selflessly given money to help get our son to America to fulfill a dream of playing in the Babe Ruth World Series for Baseball.
Liam has been training hard after school in the dark to keep up his fitness. and working hard at the local shop and doing cleaning to help raise money. He is really looking forward to the training weekend up in Levin on Kings birthday.
