Let's Get Manny and Sarah a Van

Manny and Sarah Koks are epic humans who mean so much to so many of us 🥰 They give so much to others and now there's an opportunity for us to return the favour 🙌

Manny and Sarah's mobility van has died ☠️ Repairs will cost more than the cost of the vehicle with no guarantee that it will totally fix the issue 😭 So they need to find a new van that can be converted to suit Manny's needs 🚐

Unfortunately for Manny he's actually quite tall so many of the cheaper options are actually too low for him to fit in with his wheelchair 🤕 (as you can see in the pic). For a mobility van to meet the relevant code, there must be 50mm of head clearance when Manny is in his chair. So a large van is needed.

There is therefore going to be a sizeable cost to get the right vehicle and convert it - based on the current market it's looking like it will be upwards of $65,000 plus transferring the modifications from the old van to the new van (which is roughly $7,000 alone).

Manny and Sarah have applied for lotteries funding but aren't eligible for another year. They have looked at many other funding options but none have turned into any actual support 😭

It's a big ask of you all but what a great opportunity to give back to this wonderful couple so they can get back to some level of normality without the stress of this hanging over them.
