MMC Premier Basketball teams and whānau want to thank everyone for the generous donations/koha supporting our amazing rangatahi get to Nationals! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Today Chelsea Winstanley, New Zealand Film Director, also from Tauranga Moana and a Mt Maunganui local made an amazing pledge for other Mount Maunganui Businesses to get behind our awesome teams and support them getting to Nationals. Chelsea made a couple of small video clips with her $920 pledge for one student and is asking others to donate/koha anything they can, or even better match her pledge!
We are proud and extremely grateful that Chelsea has acknowledged our rangatahi and the achievement they have made with both teams qualifying for the National tournament for the first time making history!!!
