Let's Get Raghii Surgery!
Christchurch Central, Christchurch
To all my whanau, friends and anyone else reading this page, thank you for being here!
*Story Time*
In June 2019, I came out as transgender. I was nervous, and believed the societal stigma that my life wouldn't rise up too much. Well, I was wrong. My life became more colourful than it had ever been. I connected and re-connected with incredible people. I felt an overwhelming sense of peace, acceptance and belonging. After I was officially diagnosed with Gender Dysphoria, I began medically transitioning and in February 2020, I received my first testosterone injection. About an hour after my shot, a huge smile appeared on my face and I thought "Mmm, I feel like me, on a good day." (Who knew that our hormones have a part to play in our cognitive function ;))
Fast forward a little bit, and that brings us here.
I recently took the massive step of booking in a surgical consultation with Dr. Chris Porter. The consultation is regarding top surgery, where my chest will be reconstructed as male- a moment I greatly look forward to. My transition has taught me that people are kind. It is okay to be my unique self and there is always support when I open myself up to it.
So, to all you kind souls reading this post. If you are able to help me get surgery, please do and let's whip gender dysphoria's butt together! All donations will go straight to my top surgery fund and hopefully by Summer 2023 I'll be on the beach, shirtless (dreamy).
Ngā mihi mahana to all of you,
<3 Raghii
All donations will go to my surgery and any bills associated to my care around the time of my surgery.
