LETS GET THIS MISSIONARY MARRIED!!

This is my friend Richard. He lives in the province of Luwero Uganda. Luwero has a strongly Muslim population and Richard is laying his life down to establish a YWAM base there.

His ministry is mainly reaching, feeding and discipling children in his community. He runs on "the smell of an oily rag" as we say here in NZ. That means he survives and functions on very little money. They live "subsistence" style on the few acres of land growing food just to live.

When i was in Uganda I really felt for young men especially young christian men in ministry because they often cant afford to get married! In Ugandan culture a man must pay a dowery to the parents of the bride (usually in the form of cows) which are expensive and for many this is out of reach!!!

Richard has found a future partner but needs around $5,500 NZ dollars to pay the dowery and be able to marry. LETS MAKE THIS HAPPEN FRIENDS!!!!
